Idolitry

CD (DAM via mp3.com) — Idolatry, April 1999. Shortly after The Deepest Ice was released, ThouShaltNot figured we would make a few extra bucks by allowing mp3.com to distribute some of their songs. All the songs are available elsewhere. We don't even own a copy of this, but the title is cool.

CDR — The Deepest Ice, released March 1999, effectively a beta-version of ThouShaltNot's self-titled album. This CD-R was sold in noteworthy quantities as we built a local and regional reputation. Many of the songs appear in almost identical form, though the versions of 'Idol', 'Relief', 'Sand and Wax' and 'Adem' all pale in comparison to the final versions. 'Scales on Scales' was remixed for The Deepest Ice, but this gothic samba horror piece was ultimately scrapped in favor of 'Something Dire'. 'Scales on Scales' was later released on "You'll Wake Up Yesterday" (ADSR Musicwerks, March 2002).
